My name is Kira and I go to the University of Georgia in Athens. I am from Colorado, so I travelled a long way to get here, but i wanted to expand my horizons and do something different for college. I think it is imporant to get out of your comfort zone, so I figured right now was a great time for me to do that, and I LOVE it here.

Outside of my school work here at Georgia I am in a sorority and participate in club volleyball. I have played club volleyball for about 5 years now. The coolest experience I have with volleyball would definitely be when, in 9th grade, my team and I competed in the Junior Olympics and wound up taking third place. Now I have a bronze medal and will never forget that moment. Basically, I just try to use my time in the best and most adventurous ways, through school, work, or play.
