I'm Karissa, and welcome to this nifty page. To the right you will see a blown up picture of me with my one true love, pho.

I grew up in California surrounded by diversity and a huge Latinx* community. I've been attending college at the University of Denver since 2013, studying Political Science and Spanish. My journey through higher education has been rocky, filled with love and pain, loss and acceptance.

I've turned to writing, one of my earliest passions to hopefully find solace and crete a space of healthy growth and reflection. Hope to see you around.
