I’m Kiran Poojary, Founding Partner & Chief Technology Officer at Simple Energy, building the future of electric mobility from India for the world.

My journey has always been driven by one belief — engineering, when done with clarity and courage, can change industries. At Simple Energy, I lead technology across battery systems, vehicle architecture, embedded software, motor control, vehicle dynamics, simulation, validation, and manufacturing integration. From concept to mass production, I’ve been deeply involved in building our flagship Super EV from the ground up.

I architected our full vehicle electrical platform and led the development of an advanced battery system compliant with AIS 156 standards, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability at scale. I strongly believe that hardware excellence must be complemented by intelligent software — which is why we built a tightly integrated technology stack that evolves continuously through OTA updates.

In 2025, I was recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list (Industry, Manufacturing & Energy) for our work in advancing electric mobility.

Beyond products, I care deeply about teams, engineering culture, and focus. I regularly engage with students and founders to speak about technology, startups, and the discipline required to build meaningful companies.
