I love teaching, but as much as I love teaching, I enjoy learning much more. I'm an active, student model for our young children. I've chosen to focus my energy towards toddlers because they're so eager to learn. I believe in crossing cultures inside the classroom, as well as exploring various kinds of art skills to help build their young minds. I specialise in pre-kindergarten skills, and also supply work packets for 4-5 years old based on California's pre-k requirements. I'm currently a full time student at CSU Dominguez Hills and a teacher's assistant in the university's Child Development Center; our focus is to observe and help the children develop their social, cognitive, and physical skills. Though I'm majoring in English Literature, I've taken several child development classes seeking to become a pre-school teacher by the end of 2012. My bachelor's degree will be in completion by December 2012, and I'm in quest to obtain a master's degree focusing on education.
