Kirby Urner

Born Chicago, 1958. Dad a planner. Planned for Portland, Oregon, then Libya, Philippines, Egypt, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Lesotho. I finished high school in Manila, studied Philosophy and other subjects and Princeton, then got involved in publishing and teaching. I raised a family back in Portland, the city to which I returned in my late 20s. I've been here ever since, now in my 50s, though with excursions. My late wife Dawn Wicca died of breast cancer.
