My name is Kirby and it is lovely to meet you! I am a fifth-year teacher specializing in middle school education. Over the past five years, I have held roles teaching STEM and special education in both the private and public sectors. My passion lies in creating high-interest, accessible educational experiences where students can achieve small wins that build greater long-term self-confidence in their learning.

Currently, I teach middle school computer programming and robotics at a couple of schools in Coquitlam, BC.

When I am not teaching, I am passionate about all things health-related, whether it’s learning a new recipe, weightlifting, playing a sport, or walking my puppies.

I hope to eventually transition into a career within the realm of educational psychology or administration, using data to drive change.
