Kirk Musick

In providing a brief summary of my background, experiences, and previous education, I will start with my military experience. I served in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief on F-15E models and was based out of Goldsboro, North Carolina from 1996 to 2000. I served as a student leader throughout my tech school training in Texas where I graduated from one of the Air Forces toughest schools with a 4.0. With many trips to the Middle East, I had the honor to serve my country during Operation Southern Watch while in the 335thFighter Squadron; the squadron that boasts the most Mig kills to date. I left with Air Force with many awards, such as the prestigious Sharp Saber Award, given to Airman in Saudi Arabia for serving with excellence.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Milligan College with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, took a month off and immediately started the MBA program there at Milligan. As it turns out, I spent 9 months in the program and had to drop due to responsibilities at work. The new responsibilities were a result of months of planning for a new business I started in 2009, Christian Edge. I successfully opened a new retail space at the mall here in Roanoke, Virginia in one of the toughest economies we have seen in years. We hit the ground hard, put in about 75 hours a week and built a brand that is still active 3 years later. We are currently located in Blountville, Tennessee, just 7 minutes from the Bristol International Raceway.

Over the years, I have worked at UBS Financial Services as a Wealth Advisor, a business-consulting firm in Chicago, Illinois, several online web stores, and also as a full time trader with the Forex markets in which I still actively trade. I also build, market and sell trading systems for new Forex traders and mentor new traders in hopes that they will not lose their accounts as I had in the past. I came to Full Sail University because of the highly targeted program they have with Internet marketing. I will eventually go back and complete my MBA at Milligan College seeing that I was near completion when I left in 2009. My hopes after graduating from Full Sail are to exploit my competitions weaknesses and use what I have learned to gain market share with Christian Edge and bring the business to profitability within 3 years. I am not going to rule out any possibility of creating a new business or marketing firm, I am always looking for the next big idea.
