IT Director, SEANC 2nd VP, and Husband in Burlington, NC

I began working for the State of North starting in 1996. I am the Director of Information Technology for the City of Mebane, a local municipality.

I have over 25 years of Information Technology Management experience. Before joining the City of Mebane, I worked as the LIMS Manager for the NC State Lab, contributing to implementing the testing process for COVID-19 for the state of North Carolina.

My commitment to the State of North Carolina spans over two decades of service in multiple disciplines and achievements.

My higher education includes a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University, and an associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Horry Georgetown Technical College. I am now a certified government CIO from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Government.

I have been an active member of the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) since 1996, when I first joined the State of North Carolina at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am the current Second Vice President of SEANC at the State level and previously served as Treasurer, Piedmont Regional Representative, and liaison for other SEANC State committees. I am an avid supporter of getting others involved and will continue encouraging newcomers to the state to get involved.

I enjoy martial arts, gaming, working out, spending time with family and friends, and contributing to the community. Most importantly, I believe in helping others help themselves and encouraging people to do more extraordinary things.
