To the brand consulting and communications equation, I bring my experience as a creative writer, producer, brand specialist, and detail-oriented strategic planner. I've earned a professional reputation by garnering effective, measurable, and memorable results and acclaim for top-tier clients in the airline, real estate, resort, food and beverage, and lifestyle markets.
I'm back from my recent adventures in Toronto where I completed a Producers Lab residency at the Canadian Film Centre, deepening my knowledge of story and competitively packaging and positioning product for audiences and media. I've been fortunate to win some screenwriting and producing awards along the way for three short films, including the internationally screened “Shipwrecked.” My work has screened everywhere from the Museum of Modern Art in New York to the Sydney Opera House to the CBC, and my researched marketing strategies have launched everything from local wine labels to master-planned communities.
I've written and produced dozens of commercials, radio spots, videos, websites, media kits, events, and printed content pieces, as well as fully integrated strategic MarCom and Branding plans.
I have a Masters Degree in Communications and a B.A. in English, minoring in Business, but still managed to enjoy myself at University.
An Alberta girl at heart, I grew up as one of the only Canadians in the American School System overseas — in such destinations as Venezuela, England, and Norway — which gave me an international perspective from a young age.
I currently live in Calgary next to the city’s vibrant 17th Avenue district. I love animals, have taken up yoga, kayaked twice (so far,) and my competitive spirit from my early athletic days has now been channeled into dominating board games.
