Kirsten Collins is a strong 18 year old young woman who likes to challenge herself. She enjoys embracing life. She loves performing, singing, songwriting, dancing, acting, fashion and hanging with friends. Her dream is to touch the world through music with a positive message. "I desire to use my talents in music and the arts to inspire myself and others to walk in purity, respect and value. Kirsten's continued desire is to reach the world with her voice, and impact others' lives with song.

Kirsten was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She was able to sing full songs right on key from the age of 20 mths, Her parents realized early on that there was something special about her and her love for music.

Kirsten at the age of 9 was fronting adult bands at professional events. She went on to win the Calgary Junior Idol and opened for the SHAI Awards at 10, in addition to performing at many festivals, competitions, award and talent shows throughout Canada and the US. At age 14, Kirsten's parents travelled to L.A. to meet with top voice coaches Seth Rigs, Lis Lewis and Doc Holliday, who recognized and encouraged her talent. The family has been travelling between Calgary and LA for the past 4 years building relationships and encouraging Kirsten's music career.

The decision to home school Kirsten and enroll her in private schools allowed Kirsten to graduate a year early from school so she could focus fully on her passion for music and media, including singing, songwriting, dancing and acting.

Over the last few years Kirsten has had the opportunity to work and record with many songwriters and producers, including Grammy winners in L.A., Canada and overseas.

Kirsten has the current title Miss Teen Calgary – World for the year 2012 – 2013 Together we can make a difference in our world!

Kirsten is currently working on writing and promotions to bring her career to the next level.
