I've worked in Education and Childcare for the past fifteen years and have never been more convinced in the power of reading than I am now. As an education major at Concordia University Texas, I'm planning a summer project to send at least 50 kids home with 15 books each to help prevent the dreaded "summer slide."

I would love for this project to be accomplished using a variety of traditional paper books as well as newer digital technologies that challenge students to grow beyond their reading level. If you're interested in the same thing, feel free to contact me - I'd love to work with you!
