Kirsten Overlee
Well, let me see where do I begin...
I was raised my entire life in Hingham, MA.
I have three wonderful brothers whom I love more than life itself.
I am extremely family oriented.
I have the most amazing parents who have taught be the meaning of life,
how to be a good person and to live life like today is the last.
Without them I wouldn't be anything.
They are my support, they are my rock.
They have given me more than I could ever have imagined and
they continue to amaze me everyday.
Not many people can say their parents have been married
for 39 years and are still madly in love! I CAN.
So my story goes like this...
I went to St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY for my freshman year of college.
I played Div. 1 ice hockey and lacrosse and really had no idea what
I was going to do with my life. The summer after my first year
I decided to take advantage of the fact that my dad is a pilot and
I can fly anywhere for free. Today I really think
I was ready to set on a quest to find my purpose in life.
So, I transferred to the University of Arizona and eventually graduated from there.
I lived in NYC and Arizona during the summers of my college career again, trying to find my place.
Upon graduating from U of A, I moved to Washington, D.C. and lived there for three years. I then moved to San Diego and lived there for 2 1/2 years.
From there my life journey, took me to Los Angeles, CA where I spent 3 years working at an IT Search firm placing people at the major entertainment studios.
Just four months ago, I finally decided it was time to take myself back to the place I love the most - BOSTON!
I packed up all my stuff, shipped my dogs and booked a one way ticket to the right coast.
I continue to work as an Sr Recruiter and Account Manager placing IT folks across the US.
Needless to say, I love exploring, I love meeting people, exploring new places and taking on new challenges.
I can't tell you what is in store for me next just yet but I have plenty of ideas brewing in my head!
Life is good and I love to smile everyday!
The rest, well, its to be continued...
