Kirsten Peterson

Kirsten Peterson is an avid shutterbug and scribbler with a passion for stories.

Kirsten is a native of Stillwater, Minnesota. She is currently a College of Saint Benedict senior with a major in communication and a minor in sociology. Kirsten is a Photography Editor for the CSB/SJU student newspaper, The Record.

She also works as a portrait photographer through her own freelance business; Kirsten Peterson Photography.

She enjoys savoring moments in time with portrait photography, photojournalism and writing.

In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys travelling anywhere she can afford a plane ticket, and spending time with friends and family. She has spent 10+ years training in karate and has earned the rank of 1st degree black belt at The Edge Martial Arts.

Kirsten aspires to someday work in journalism or public relations, where she can continue to foster her passion for photography, working with people, and telling great stories.
