Kirsten Sibilia

A vocal advocate for the value of design, the power of the built environment, and the importance of sustainability, Kirsten Sibilia is Chief Marketing Officer at Dattner Architects – a New York City firm committed to excellence in civic architecture, with a long history of improving and sustaining communities and the urban environment. Kirsten is on the AIA New York Chapter board as the Director of Communications, overseeing the Chapter's publications. She is the former co-chair of AIA NY Chapter’s Marketing Committee, chaired the Chapter’s PR Task Force, and is a founding member of the PR Advisory Committee. She authored the chapter on Public Relations for the 2008 issue of The Architect’s Handbook of Professional Practice, published by the American Institute of Architects. Kirsten is also an active member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services. She served on the board for New York Area Chapter from 2005 to 2007, co-authored a white paper on leadership transition for the SMPS Foundation in 2010, and is a member of the 2011 White Paper Task Force. Kirsten is an associate member of the AIA and a LEED accredited professional. She frequently lectures on strategic planning, leadership transition, communications, and marketing.
