Hi, thanks for stopping by, I’m Kirsti and this is my blog. Very briefly I am a 40 something, late to the party, entrepreneur. This is more of my ‘side-hustle’, as I am a director of a Reinsurance Consultancy, The Global Re Group, as well as mother to two – well I’ll call them teenagers, even though they are moving into Young Adult stage.

This is also the blog for my online shop, The Ananda Tree, a range of 100% organic bamboo scarves which I have designed myself. You can find my shop over here.

While I love the shop and how its set up, the blog side is a little limiting so for a while there will be duplication, but I think these pages are better set up for the sort of blog that I want to curate. I was also thinking about giving it a separate name but I don’t seem to have much in the way of inspiration so will leave as is for the moment – scarfilicious, scarf-life, scarvesnroses, gonewiththescarf, scarfwars (see where I’m going with this) none of them look visually appealing in the written form. Ananda however, means bliss so will leave it as this for the moment.

I think that this should be a lifestyle blog as opposed to having a focus on fashion or something particular like that. Which is another reason why I wanted to move it away from the online store as hopefully this will give it a bit more freedom about what I write. Though be warned there will be plenty of stuff about scarves.
