I'm Kirsty, and welcome to my little space on the internet. This blog is a place for me to share my creative endeavours, from writing exercises to crafting to baking and more. Whatever your interests, I hope you find something here that connects us.

I dream of the day when I can make enough money writing fiction to quit my job and become a foster carer for abandoned animals (and probably adopt them all). Until then, I'm content working at a not-for-profit organisation, managing an online reporting tool for Indigenous primary health care.

I have a BA in Communications from the University of SA and am working towards a Masters in Creative Writing with Macquarie University. A passionate student, I also attend classes for anything from German language lessons to Calligraphy, whenever the opportunity presents.

When I don't have my nose stuck in a book or madly typing away at my Mac, I'll most likely be knitting or crocheting in front of the TV, cooking up a vegan storm, hanging with my (rather large) pony, JJ, or annoying my husband, James, and cat, Diego with cute animal videos.

I'm currently in the editing stage of my debut novel.
