Kiruparan Balachandran is a Data Scientist at Innovation Quotient (Pvt.) Ltd. Currently he leads an AI team, and has expertise in Statistical Computing, Natural Language Processing, Ontology Learning,Customer Profiling, and Recommendation Engine. Kiruparan completed his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in IT from Faculty of Information Technology, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2013, and obtained his Master of Science Degree in Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa, in 2016.

Kiruparan Balachandran has published several papers on different venues in USA and India on Ontology Learning. He has been a Technical Speaker for postgraduate students and is actively involved in the ontology learning research area with academic researchers in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa.

Kiruparan is a wildlife enthusiast, interested in learning animal behaviors. He visits national parks and has produced some excellent digital memories with his camera.
