Mi chiamo Anna!

My real reason for starting this blog is to record my progression with learning this bello lingua that I have fallen in love with, well that and the fact I've falling in love with an italian lad. La mia famiglia has italian roots, which makes this piccola kiwi ragazza 1/4 italian, so that gives me some encouragement to learn the language... but the main reason is because I want to be able to communicate properly with mio ragazzo, even though his english is now amazing (When we first met there was a lot of google translate help), none of his family speak english, so i need to have the courage to tackle this language full on to be able to communicate with Mamma, Nonna e Sorella! So when we do our frequent trips to Rome then I won't feel awkward sitting there not understanding anything like the first time we went there. I don't want Matteo (mio ragazzo) to have to translate to english for me all the time, i want to be able to understand what they're saying without having to translate.

So any hints of tips that anyone has, i will look into them all!
