An outstanding student and member of the National Honor Society, K.J. Paseka attends the prestigious Northfield Mount Hermon preparatory school, located in Mount Hermon, Massachusetts. K.J. Paseka also participates in the school's math and science clubs and mentors his classmates in academics and athletics. Although K.J. Paseka enjoys lacrosse, baseball, skiing, and snowboarding, skating is his primary passion. A hockey player since he was in kindergarten, K.J. Paseka gained experience from his first team, the Atlanta Fire Hockey Club, and went on to compete in a number of traveling clubs.
K.J. Paseka served as a player on the Florida Junior Everblades Association and the Florida Panthers Alliance as well as the Pinnacle Hockey Group Inc.'s Summer Elite League, USA Hockey, Inc., the Southern Youth Travel Hockey League, and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL). Currently playing on the Northfield Mount Hermon varsity hockey team, K.J. Paseka hopes to parlay his skills into a professional hockey career, following the paths of National League players Alexander Ovechkin, Daniel Alfredsson, Pavel Datsyuk, and Ray Bourque.
Northfield Mount Hermon preparatory school operates in the New England Prep School Ice Hockey Association (NEPSIHA), one of the nation’s most formidable high school hockey leagues. Other NEPSIHA alumni have continued to play for college and professional hockey teams and K.J. Paseka hopes to follow in their path.
