Intuition and experience are invaluable assets in organisations, but they should be taken together with facts.

Analytics is all about that!

With over 5 years experience in the Engineering sector, I'm excited to take on a new role in the data-driven industry by diving into the world of Analytics.

In my quest, I began with learning how to write SQL queries to explore weather trends. My first venture into data analytics using python was through exploring US Bikeshare Data. I wrote code to import data and answer interesting questions about it by computing descriptive statistics. I also wrote a script that took in raw input to create an interactive experience to present these statistics.

To become more familiar with all steps involved in a data analysis process, I worked on investigating a dataset from The Movie Database (TMDB). After wrangling the dataset, I was able to determine patterns and key trends in the movie industry such as learning that movies have grown nearly twenty fold in the past 50 years.

My next project was to Analyze A/B Test Results by an e-commerce website to learn the common tools used by data analysts today. Through the use of statistical analysis, I was able to conclude if the website should implement a new page or keep the old page.
