Matt FX is a trailblazing multifaceted creative with a classical background. He is a Native New Yorker, a resident of Lower Manhattan, and 23 years old.

As a music supervisor, Matt has worked on both seasons of Comedy Central’s hit new show ‘Broad City,’ and is currently in the process of completing the show's third season. He has also recently finished the first season of 'Man Seeking Woman' as well as 'Difficult People', exec-produced respectively by Lorne Michaels for FXX and Amy Poehler for Hulu. Matt has also contributed his uniquely urban aesthetic to the award-winning ‘SKINS’.

Matt is the brainchild behind a recording project under the name SCOOTER ISLAND, a wholly collaborative affair with over 25 producers, vocalists, and visual artists. This genre defying freshman project takes it’s shape as a 5 track EP clocking just under 30 minutes.

Matt is also a fixture in the local NYC DJ scene - as a member of the 'Tribes DJs' you can catch him spinning one of his trademark sets anywhere from downtown clubs like Le Bain & Soho House to well-known Brooklyn locales like Output or Verboten & even the roaming BangOn! NYC & RINSED parties.

Simply put, Matt FX knows music, especially his own, self-coined genre of 'rooftop music'. His dynamic tastes and sounds reflect both the grit and beauty of New York while always alluding to something beyond, something fresh, and something great.
