Klaus Miller

I am a Digital Business Development and Research Manager at Switzerland's leading media company Ringier AG in Zurich.

From 2008 to 2011 I served as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Institute of Innovation- and Technologymarketing at the University of Bern. During that time I consulted with various companies on marketing and pricing issues.

1999-2011 activities as a freelance journalist for print and online publications (e.g., Die Welt, Welt Online, Hamburger Abendblatt and Berliner Morgenpost) as well as radio (e.g., Funkhaus Ingolstadt, BLR) and TV stations (e.g., Bavarian Television).

2003-2005 Management trainee in marketing, sales and communications at Audi AG with assignments in Germany and China.

2000-2005 Studies in Business Administration, Economics and Political Science in Ingolstadt and Hagen, Germany. 2008 PhD in Management Economics at the University of Bern with short stints at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University. My research is primarily concerned with pricing and advertising issues in the digital economy. In 2010 I won the best dissertation award of the Swiss Society for Market and Social Research.
