Klaus Paul

Technical Business Analyst in Ontario, Canada

Since an early age Klaus has demonstrated a passion for learning. He still remembers his first encyclopedia his father bought for him and the time he spent in the school's library. His passion for science and computers started in a time when computers were a keyboard hooked up to a TV and with a tape recorder to save and load the applications. He was one of the first students in his school to use a computer in a science fair, developing himself a computer animation illustrating the continental drift.

Currently Klaus is working as a technical business analyst at a recognized Canadian financial service provider helping to translate business requirements into cost-effective IT solutions meeting business need, by using his working knowledge on development, analysis, testing and implementation, and his technical knowledge in web, databases, networking and GUI design.

Klaus enjoys the business analysis profession as it allows him to bridge the gap between business and technical users, helping solving user's problems and turning opportunities into actual valuable and useful products. Klaus is member of the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis), and he's also an Oracle 10g OCA professional.

On his free time he enjoys spending his time with his family, reading on his Kindle, watching movies and listening to some music (classic rock, rock, ambient, pop, classical). Klaus has become a Jays and Leafs fan, and is looking forward for the Stanley Cup to be back in Toronto.
