Chivoma Bulus Ashu popularly known as Klef Matinez is a Nigerian Hip-Hop/Rap artist born and bored up in the North on the 25th of June 2000 to the families of Mr. Bulus Bala Ashu & Mrs. Rahab Bulus.

Klef Matinez got notice with music way back 2015 and since then, music became him and viz-a-viz which later saw him recording his first single in 2017 while in secondary school (High school). After that Klef Matinez got a featured request from a South African artist which he record and send his vocals in 2018.

Klef Matinez considers; J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, M.I Abaga and likes of Jay Z and Tyler James Williams as the metaphor that influenced him into the music arena.

Klef is currently studying BSc. Computer Science at the Taraba State University and exceeding well with his academic outcomes regardless of his music pursuit.

In 2020 he got signed in an empire called MKA Records (Muryan Kiran Arewa).
