Six Word Memoir: Everything is figure-out-able for all students!

Hello! I am an elementary supply teacher currently in a math facilitator LTO! I have my junior and intermediate divisions with a science and math teachable. I have also successfully completed the reading part I and ELL part I AQs. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I am so thrilled to finally be experiencing this career! As an educator, I am very passionate about giving students the tools to effectively learn math and literacy using research-based strategies! I believe that all learning is figure-out-able for all students; we just need to support students by giving them the necessary scaffolding and tools! I am so excited to be in the math facilitator position so that I can make a positive difference in student's math learning experiences!

Aside from teaching, I love to explore the outdoors by hiking in beautiful landscapes! To be active, I like to play soccer and dance! I also enjoy finding new houseplants and tending to their needs. I find it interesting to research about the different conditions that they need to thrive! I spend some of my spare time reading a good book and watching movies. I love to connect with students about our interests - I think that is essential for creating a welcoming learning environment!
