Katherine Lugo

Katherine Lugo is a first year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She is a National Honor Society Member where we developed a relationship with local food bank, oversaw and chaired philanthropy with march of dimes for 2 years, and led the campus beautification program. She was elected Class Vice President for Student Council where she helped designed a new 3 day freshman mentor program, organized and networked to put on the Shine On week long school broadcasted PSA against drinking and driving. She had over 50 volunteer hours, and the council was recognized as 1 of 7 outstanding councils in the state that year. She was the head producer of the Raider Nation News Broadcast program on campus where she used Advanced knowledge of computer editing programs on a daily basis and used strong personal communication skills to do interviews and used of media for advertising and networking.
