My name is Kate Mazzotta, and I was born and (mostly) raised in the bustling city of Orlando, Florida. However, I was born with wanderlust pixie dust in my crib, because I've anxiously been searching for a place to move since I knew where I was on a map. In 2011, I moved from the tourist hell hole of Orlando to the sleepy capitol city of Tallahassee, Florida, to attend Florida State University. I'm five months away from completing my bachelor degree in creative writing, and I'm already sketching out how I'm going to save enough money to pick up and move again.
I'm the editor-in-chief of The Kudzu Review, the assistant director of FSU's Student Council of Undergraduate Research and Creativity, and the very proud owner of a chubby tabby cat named Belle. I still live in a quiet little townhome in Tallahassee, Florida.
