Kyle McCarthy, a senior at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications, is an Integrated Marketing Communications major. As an Integrated Marketing Communications major, he had a lot of group projects and presentations in many different areas of marketing during his time at Ithaca College. Among these projects were an advertising campaign for Method cleaning products, a media buying plan for Kashi Frozen Pizza, public relations case study for an Arctic exhibition, and research and statistical analysis to grow Barnes and Noble’s client base.
In the summer of 2015, he held an internship with Black Duck Software, a Boston-based software company. During this internship he assisted the marketing team in a number of different facets, including graphic design, database migration, market research, budget analysis and lead generation. After graduating, he plans on pursuing a career in marketing with either analytics or product marketing.
