I don’t faint at the sight of blood. I would love to watch an open-heart surgery, and I don’t get squeamish when children I babysit “spill their cookies.” I am diligent, and a perfectionist. I am not lazy.
My research experience spans two projects I worked on during my yearlong internship at Sarasota Vascular Specialists with a vascular surgeon. I presented one project at the American Venous Forum’s 2014 Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA, and the other at Florida Vascular Society’s 2014 Annual Conference in Orlando, FL. I am currently working on submitting the manuscript for the material I presented in New Orleans to the Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders. The abstract has already been accepted for publication.
I have also completed a summer internship at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Radiology Department, observing procedures and working on data entry on the incidence of post-lumbar puncture headaches.
My interests include dance, taekwondo, and tennis (all at an extremely non-competitive level). I enjoy cuisine from every country but ice cream will always be number one in my heart.
