"To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.”
I love Monday mornings, and all of the brand new possibilities that come in beautifully wrapped boxes waiting to be opened. Each day holds the potential to be "the one" that could be a game changer. I get up early to make sure that I don't miss the chance to chase down a great idea or miss meeting someone who could have a great impact on my life.
Like a soccer ball, there are at least 32 sides to my achievements and interests; there's not much I haven't done. In retrospect, I've spent my life cross-training, and I'm not done. If I haven't done something yet, I still want to learn about it and do it.
The once candy-striper is now a veteran in the healthcare war with a few initials after her name, fighting on the side of patient rights even when it isn't easy or popular. I'm a nurse that cares more about building relationships than a magnet status. Google Kate Jurman cardiology, and you'll come across what was the love of life for more than 7 years.
I'm a business owner who believe the best customer service isn't about the "big sell," it's about listening and genuinely caring about what your clients want and need and then delivering a quality product consistently. And I deliver alot of different products, to alot of different clients.
On any given day you can find me at the bedside of a patient, providing care and education for my patient and their family members. I provide consultation services for residential and office design, and I show up with my tools and do the labor myself sometimes too.
I could shop for a living, which is probably why I love working in retail, especially for the most Magical store in the world!
I'm one of the few people who can honestly say, there isn't a day (or night!) that I don't mind going to work; I believe in the work that I do and the value that I offer; and that makes all the difference.
It's better to look back on life and say: "I can't believe I did that! " than to look back and say "I wish I did."
