As a young writer, I thought -- "rules be damned! I know I can write so let's go."

That produced...nothing.

Luckily, I matured a bit. Not to say I grew up, but I learned. To break the rules you have to know them. After two years of writing enrichment courses at UNF, my writing is finally a tangible thing, shaping into a book (or two).
