2-Fluoromethamphetamine

2-Fluoramphetamine (2-FMA) is a stimulant related to methamphetamine and 2-fluoroamphetamine. Little is known about the pharmacological properties of fluoromethoxy-substituted amphetamines. Since 2-FMA has been considered and listed as a component of a designer drug, it can be sold as a “legal high” to substitute for restricted substances. With the hydrochloride structure of the compound it is intended to be used as a standard for forensic analysis of samples that may hace trace of 2-FMA.
