I am Zizile Nama. I was born and bred in Eastern Cape in a small town called Tabankulu. I am pretty much a very quiet and shy person, I always consider myself as an introvert. I do not go out a lot. I would like to believe that I am a nice person. I’m also a family person. I try by all means to achieve the best in my academics and also in my life in general. My motor is “Do unto others what you would love to be done unto you.”

From this module, I expect to improve my technological skills and get to know how to use technology better than I am using it now. I expect to gain knowledge on how better I can integrate technology in my subject specialisation when teaching learners. I am also expecting that this module can improve my teaching strategies and my teaching philosophy.

My technological abilities are moderate I can say. I know the basic things about the use of technology like typing, social media, accessing emails, submitting assignments etc. It is not outstanding but also not that bad.

Working on assignments, I struggle a lot with assignments. I prefer writing tests. I think I do not know how to conduct research and that therefore hinders me from getting good marks. Procrastination is also a problem as I delay doing school work until last minute and that puts me under a lot of pressure because at that point I need to meet a lot of deadlines.
