Knowledge Murphy is the owner & CEO of BMGP Energy, a solar development company & multimedia brand which focuses on residential/commercial solar, microgrids, agrivoltaics, and consulting.
He is the co-founder of the Northwest Xcelerator, a climate-tech accelerator for Black and underserved entrepreneurs. The NWXcelerator has won 3 of NREL's American Made Challenges; two Inclusive Energy Innovation prizes, and one EPIC Prize.
Knowledge is also co-founder of the Kijani Collective, a group of Black environmentalists focused on representation in Oregon's environmental legislation, policy and rulemaking.
Mr. Murphy is currently working on agrivoltaics and community solar projects around the U.S. and internationally.
