Knox Massey

I am currently the managing director for a private family partnership.

I also currently serve as the co-chair of the Georgia Venture Capital Coalition. The GVCC crafted legislation in 2013 that created a new state-based $100M venture capital fund to increase access to capital in the State of Georgia. The bill was introduced during the 2013 Georgia General Assembly and was passed into law April, 2013.

In addition, I have a background in angel investing. I helped build the Atlanta Technology Angels as an active member investor and Managing Director from 2002-2009, increased the membership from 20 members to 60 members, co-wrote and introduced the current Georgia Angel Tax Credit legislation in 2010 (and renewal in 2013) and oversaw over 50 investments in Georgia companies during that time. I am a cuurent BOD member of the Atlanta Technology Angels, a former BOD member of the Angel Capital Association (2007-2010) and currently serve on the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
