I hate talking about myself but I love working. So I am going to talk about myself to get some work.

I promise it's going to be quick and painless. Just like going to the dentist.

Here it goes.

I'm a Brazilian screenwriter and journalist. I was one of the creators of Julie & The Phantoms, a Nickelodeon Latin America live action series nominated in 2012 for an International Kids Emmy.

I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of São Paulo and worked for many years writing and developing shows for Discovery Channel, History Channel and NatGeo. Amongst the projects I worked on are the documentary The Assassination of Jean Charles nominated for an International Emmy in 2011 and the development of Hard Work, a docu-reality series currently in production at Fernando Meirelles’ O2 Films (director of City of God).

Prior to that, I headed the research department at the award-winning Brazilian production company Mixer. I was responsible for the research of factual and dramaturgic projects including the HBO Olé series O Negócio. O Negócio focuses on sex workers who decide to use marketing to improve their business. For the development of that project, I spent six months interviewing sex workers and investigating the ins and outs of this business in the biggest city of South America.

Thank you for your visit and for optimal dental hygiene brush your teeth twice a day.
