Kobi Wu-Pasmore
Kobi Wu-Pasmore is the Head of Live & Creative Strategy for Splendid Communications, responsible for providing vision and leadership to across the company's three core disciplines: Live, PR and Digital. She supports all business development and leads creative strategy across experiential and consumer programming leveraging contemporary online and offline trends. Splendid's clients including Spotify, Smirnoff, Wheat Thins and others.
A veteran brand marketing executive, Wu-Pasmore previously conceived and built the experiential marketing agency Lyonshare Communications Inc. As an expert and innovator in youth and music marketing Wu-Pasmore created compelling consumer experiences marrying brand culture to artists' brands. With advanced degrees in architecture and a deep understanding of how design and live experience intersect, Wu-Pasmore's creative vision enhanced programs for media and corporate brands such as The Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Pepsi, Black Girls Rock! Inc, Def Jam Recordings among others.
A former executive at Cornerstone, the New York based award winning youth marketing agency, Wu-Pasmore developed and initiated disruptive programs such as Smirnoff Signature Mix (Common, Q-Tip, KRS1), Converse's 100th Anniversary ("My Drive Thru" with Pharrell Williams, Santigold, and Julian Casablancas) and The FADER Fort at SXSW . She seamlessly integrated top level talent, sourced and contracted artists for all programs she oversaw. In addition to her creative input, Wu-Pasmore managed department revenue, staff and client services.
Prior to Cornerstone, Wu-Pasmore managed event executions for Morgans Hotels Group responsible for all entertainment media and lifestyle brands including Paramount Pictures, HBO, CBS, Fox, Showtime, ESPN, Warner Brothers, Sony Music and others. The work for MHG maintained a strategy for sales, media relations and generating incremental revenue for the business.
Wu-Pasmore's professional career has been securely rooted in music since she was in artist management and event production at which time she garnered invaluable insights across touring, performances, brand partnerships and engagements.
Wu-Pasmore has been an adjunct professor at the The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music since 2009 and teaches various topics in marketing, mentors students and works on various incremental programs for the University. She has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Califo
