Born in Thessaloniki on the 12th of August 1975.

Got his Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics in 1998 from the University of Macedonia. Obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Business Management from Warwick University next academic year.

Worked as an IT Teacher and Instructor at secondary and post-secondary education from September 2001 until February 2003. Attended another Master's degree in Business Informatics (2003-2005) in the University of Macedonia, while working for St. Paul's General Hospital of Thessaloniki as an IT Officer.

At the moment, heads the IT department and is attending the Adult Education postgraduate program at the Hellenic Open University. His main interests lie in Healthcare Information Systems, Health Management, Innovative Strategy, E-government and EU Policies. He is a certified Adult Trainer in the field of IT. Speaks English fluently and German at a good level.

Married to Anastasia Tei and have two daughters, Amalia and Vasiliki.
