About Me
I’m Kole Akintujoye, a Nigerian-American filmmaker based in the United States. My work focuses on authentic African storytelling, celebrating the resilience, culture, and social issues of African communities. Through my films, I aim to bridge the gap between African narratives and global audiences, allowing viewers worldwide to experience the depth and beauty of African stories.

My Interests

  • Movies: As a filmmaker, I’m passionate about creating impactful films that resonate on a global scale. My recent project, Sambala: The Cost of Freedom, is a testament to my commitment to sharing African stories that highlight themes of freedom, resilience, and cultural heritage.
  • Entrepreneurship: I founded GUODB Cinematics, a production company that not only brings African stories to life but also provides economic opportunities for local talents in Africa. This venture reflects my dedication to empowering African filmmakers and building a sustainable film industry.
  • Philanthropy: Through my foundation, Give Us Our Daily Bread (GUODB), I’m actively involved in combating hunger and poverty in Nigeria. For me, storytelling is intertwined with social responsibility, using both film and philanthropic work to inspire change and uplift communities.
