David Kolinsky earned a law degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in April of 2004, and became a member of the Ontario bar in 2005. Mr. Kolinsky practiced law in Toronto, Ontario, until 2012, when David and his family moved to Edmonton, Alberta. Mr. Kolinsky has been practicing law in Edmonton since he was called to the Alberta Bar on Dec. 20, 2012. Mr. Kolinsky also continues to maintain his membership in the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario).

Mr. Kolinsky has extensive experience in the realm of family law, having comprehensively dealt with a multitude of divorce and family cases. David is committed to resolving the many complex issues that result from divorce: contested divorce, spousal support, child custody and visitation rights, child support, and marital property division. David has also had wide-ranging experience with mediation and collaborative Law, modification of custody/support, domestic violence, and the dissolution of domestic partnerships. David approaches each divorce with the goal of safeguarding your family’s immediate and future interests by minimizing the amount of time spent in family court, and ensuring the legal disputes that inevitably accompany divorce are resolved in a cost-effective and timely manner.
