Thabiso Dlamini, known to fans as Kolo, is a dynamic hip-hop artist hailing from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. From a young age, Kolo’s passion for music was ignited by the rhythmic flows of Eminem, played by his uncle, an underground rapper. Although the lyrics initially eluded him, the energy and cadence planted a seed that grew into a lifelong dedication to hip-hop.

His breakthrough came after joining NFX Studios, where a collaboration sparked recognition in the local rap scene. In 2014, he independently released his debut EP, Masterpiece, which sold over 8000 CD copies and showcased his authentic voice and storytelling ability.
