What I bring to an employer is a dedication and passion that spurs the creation of quality output. I seek to know my field inside and out, from the top players to the most basic of functions so that I can become as intimate as possible with all of the possibilities available to me and be able to understand and design a trajectory for growth in the market that I am in. As a finance major, who seeks to obtain a job in sales in the future, I understand that the industry I seek to enter is wrought with several social, political, and logistical issues, largely due to the irresponsibility of many of the players involved in international finance. However, I seek to be a part of a new generation of responsible employees in the finance industry who will foster growth and sustainability by adhering to a strict code of ethics. I believe that, in the long run, behaving ethically pays off far greater dividends than the short-term gains we stand to make through dishonesty and coercion.

Another advantage I possess are my bi-national affiliations. Having lived in both Saudi Arabia and the United States for extensive periods of time, I am very familiar with the cultures, languages, and nuances of each on a very personal level. Finance industry firms looking to expand into the Middle East region would find me very valuable in any venture they sought to start up because of these attributes I hold.

My strengths lie in my dedication and desire. When I have a goal that I want, I eat, sleep, and breathe it. Some might call that an obsession, but I disagree. I think that everybody needs a goal to wake up for in the morning, and my goal is to obtain a position in a firm as a part of a team with highly motivated individuals like myself. My main weakness is that I lack verbal ability. I am still working on my pronunciation in English and so I sometimes stumble over my words. My brain has the words, but they do not always translate well to my mouth. I have been practicing extensively with my native English-speaking friends.

My two main skills are my mathematical and negotiating abilities. I have received high marks in all of my mathematics classes and I have been honing my negotiation skills since I was a young boy selling second-hand clothing and auto parts back home in Saudi Arabia. I learned the process of negotiation, debate and compromise.
