Kori Newman

I am a knitter, crafter, mountain biker who loves picnicking and napping in the park. I am a former shopaholic now obsessed with giving my stuff away to whoever comes over. I am not a chef by any means, mainly I eat whatever I can get someone to cook me, so I eat a lot of tofu fried rice. My husband, Rob, shows me everyday what patience and support look like. He's also vegan (hence the tofu fried rice). We work in IT together. Rob, our dog Moose, and I live in a tiny studio apartment above my favorite coffee shop, across from my favorite bakery.

Often, I feel as though I get so caught up in the daily cycle of work, eat, sleep, repeat that I forget to look around. The lights shining in the rain in front of my apartment, the quick tea brakes Rob and I sneak at work and listening to the Beatles in my PJ's on Sunday mornings. That is what this blog is all about. Creativity is the ability to make new things or think of new ideas. I am making the choice to live a more creative life by thinking in a new way about my every day life.
