KORY GRAY

Graphic Designer and Educator in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Kory was born on the east side of Toronto and raised in the farm fields of Uxbridge. When he wasn't playing hockey, refereeing or pumping gas, he was cultivating ideas and artwork. His dreams of becoming a professional hockey player were diminishing, but his future still looked bright. Something was missing, but the lure of Canada's motor city was calling. Kory made the drive to Oshawa.

It was at Durham College in the 'Shwa where he found coffee, girls and the love for Graphic Design. While coffee and girls kept his eyes ajar, it was Graphic Design that kept him up at night – maybe coffee and girls did that as well. With an eye for detail, a grasp of software and a flair for design, Kory began to add his touch to school projects and freelance work alike.

Eventually, the metropolis of Oshawa couldn't offer the budding Graphic Designer what he needed. It was time to find out what was happening in the big smoke. Kory was Toronto-bound and discovered a small boutique agency to call home, Thai food, and a lot of coffee shops. His skills grew with his experience, and he knew he found his calling.

Garnering various honours along the way, it was time to test his skills in the big leagues. It was at Maple Leaf Sports + Entertainment where Kory put his acquired experience to the test as a player-coach. His versatility to play multiple positions as a graphic designer, producer and studio manager make him a versatile player on any team.

When Kory is not playing hockey at a local rink, you can find him enjoying life back on the east side of Toronto with his family. Hockey remains to be Kory's true passion, graphic design still keeps him up at night, and opportunities for his future remain bright.

As Kory plans for his next steps in life, perhaps it's your contribution that can help him write the next paragraph.

Don't be shy, send him a message. Folks say he is a really nice guy.
