Janet Bradley

I am originally from southern Ontario but I have lived in Haliburton County for 25 years. I am a self taught artist and I work in Acrylics. I am not interested in abstract works. My main focus is on realism. I paint what I see and I feel that most people want to look at a piece of art that really looks like something or it reminds them of a place that has fond memories. I am surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and I am constantly taking photos to add to my collection called potential paintings.

I have taken some courses both in Haliburton and South Carolina. I am constantly adapting my style to the subject matter but I am always striving for realism.
