J Anythony Kososki

A northeast Texas native, J. Anthony “Tony” Kososki, DDS, FAGD, grew up in Texarkana. Dr. Kososki earned his bachelor of arts in mathematics from Baylor University in Waco before completing his doctorate of dental surgery at University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1981. He then opened his private practice in Plano, where he hired a team of professionals who serve families with dental care based on clinical excellence and sincere compassion.

Since opening on June 15, 1981, Dr. Kososki has strived to deliver the best dentistry has to offer. He continually evaluates new dental technology and techniques and regularly completes more than the state’s requirement for continuing education courses. Recently, he completed the Advanced Restorative Series at the Center for Aesthetic Dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Kososki holds membership with the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association. Dr. Kososki was granted the prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Kososki and his wife of 31 years, Vicki, live in Plano and have two sons, Adam and Austin. Vicki formerly worked in the practice. In his time away from the office, the doctor enjoys playing golf and working in the yard.

He and Vicki are also parents to two dachshunds and they are members of Christ United Methodist Church.
