A UK based Aussie who is attempting to find a new balance in life through the zen nature of making and creating in mixed media. Primarily in textiles but has been known to dabble in photography, ceramics, glass fusing, metalwork and woodwork.

She is continually challenging herself to develop her knowledge and skills As a life long learner. She is still on the journey of learning to live as a spoonie (10+ years) with the latest developments of her Elbert Danlos Syndrome Hypermobility with Chromic pain and Fibromyalgia conditions .

As a long time educator (former academic) and activist, she continues to actively work at challenging the wider perspectives of individuals with disability. Very strong believer in the Social Model of Disability and Spoon Theory.

Some times Kota is delusional and sometimes she is sane it just depends on the day, possibly the time of day and the ratio of sleep to tasks she has to complete.
