Bill Kotcher is President at Tioga and serves on the Board of Directors at Mackson Nuclear, Laminators Inc., and the Management Advisory Board at Michigan State University. Bill is a sought-after public speaker on Leadership, Ethics and Critical Thinking in business.

In addition to publications, Bill has been a featured leadership speaker at national conventions including the 2025 NASPD 50th Anniversary Convention speaking on “Ethics and the Growing Role of Critical Thinking”, 2024 & 2022 Pipe Fabrication Institute Conference speaking on the “Global Supply Chain Challenges & Energy Industry Impact”, the 2020 OPEX Exchange America’s Convention speaking on, “Culture, Policy, and Practice: Exploring Why Organizations Fail to Perform and Considerations for Building a Sustainable Operational Strategy”, and at the 2019 NASPD National Convention speaking on “Ethics and Leadership in the Modern Era”. In addition to public speaking, he has lectured on Leadership, Ethics, and Negotiations at; The George Washington University, The University of Michigan, The University of Oklahoma, Louisiana Tech University, The University of Central Florida, Michigan State University, Florida Gulf Coast University, The University of San Diego, and is the Creator and Instructor for Ashland University's MBA Seminar "Leading Organizations, People and Change". Since 2015, Mr. Kotcher has been honored to participate in Detroit’s Homecoming expat event established to promote economic investment and leadership to Detroit and the State of Michigan. In addition to civic engagements, Bill served as an Industry Fellow teaching Ethics at the University of Houston Downtown’s MBA program.

From 2012 to 2014, Bill served on the Board of the International Institute of Advance Purchasing and Supply and received the honor of Lifetime Fellow in 2014. Previously to IIAPS, he served on the Supply Chain Board of Advisors at St. John’s University and on the Board of Advisors for the book “The Complete Guide to Sales Force Incentive Compensation” published in 2006 by AMACOM. In addition to board roles, Mr. Kotcher holds a US Copyright on his proprietary negotiation program called “Multi-Disciplinary Negotiations”.

Bill holds a B.A. in Materials and Logistics Management from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and an MBA in International Business from Rosemont College.
