Kourtney Ketterhagen

An energetic problem solver, Kourtney has produced events for corporations and nonprofits, developed relationships with broadcast media outlets, and consulted small business and entrepreneurs in branding and business development.

After completing an immersive course in yoga, ayurveda, meditation and natural health at the Himalayan Institute, Kourtney took a position as a senior associate and went on to become the first managing editor of Yoga International Magazine. While in this role she helped organize and orchestrate several events including the Institute’s new center launch attended by over two hundred business leaders, influencers, and international dignitaries.

While at Himalayan Institute, Kourtney fell in love, got married, and went on to raise two children. As a full time home-maker, part time event consultant, and compulsive collaborator, Kourtney has helped conceive and produce scores of events for audiences ranging in size from six to 10,000.

Event highlights include The 2012 Penny Marshall Celebrity Softball event attended by over 600 inner-city kids; The JC Penney/Foundry Launch that featured 6 Super Bowl Champions in a fashion runway show; The Jenesse Center Annual Luncheon and Silent Auction at the Wilshire Country Club, and The Jenesse Center Fashion Show at Bloomingdales in Century City held to honor Essence Magazine editor Mikki Taylor, and hosted by actor Kimberly Elise.

Now working as a freelance creative strategist, Kourtney is currently assisting an accomplished author as he writes the biography of jazz great Charlie Parker. She is designing and overseeing the renovation of her home in New Rochelle, NY where she lives with her husband, wellness master Luke Ketterhagen, and their children, Prakash and Mangala.
