About Me
I'm Alex Kovalenko, founder of Kovasys IT Recruitment, a specialized Toronto IT staffing firm headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Since 2005, we've completed over 1,000 placements for hundreds of companies across Canada and the United States. I work directly with CTOs, technology leaders, and HR executives who need more than a resume pipeline. They need a recruiting partner who understands the work.

What Kovasys Does
We focus exclusively on IT. That specialization is intentional. The roles we fill — cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, data, AI, full-stack development, QA, and business analysis — require a recruiter who can evaluate technical depth, not just match keywords.
We place contract, permanent, and contract-to-hire professionals. Our clients range from high-growth startups to federally regulated institutions in banking, healthcare, and government. We are experienced in security clearance hiring and complex procurement environments.
On the MSP and VMS side, we operate across multiple programs in Canada and the US with active profiles on Beeline, Fieldglass, Flextrack, Clutch, VNDLY, and Coupa. Our standard response time on MSP submissions is under one hour. Our contract completion rate is 95% or higher.

Good recruiting is not about volume. It is about knowing what the role actually requires, identifying candidates who can genuinely do the work, and moving with enough speed that the right person does not go elsewhere. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every search.
